Beads

The largest set of jewellery in number are the beads. Beads hardly function as stand-alone elements of body adornment. Instead, they are usually combined with each other or with other types of jewellery, such as pendants, to make up a piece of jewellery. They may also be an element of clothing decoration. Beads are made from all the known raw materials, such as stone, clay, animal and fish bones and shells.
